Connect People to Nature
Reconnecting communities with nature.
Agroecology and climate advocacy: we help communities farm while protecting their land, and make their voices heard on climate.

Why
Nature, communities’ first wealth
In DRC, rural families live directly from land, forest and water. When soils are exhausted and ecosystems degraded, harvests, incomes and peace between neighbours are all at risk.
Connect People to Nature starts from a simple idea: protecting nature and improving community life go hand in hand.
Our focus
Two areas of action
Agroecology
Farming practices that feed families while preserving soil, water and biodiversity.
- Train and support farmers, especially young people
- Share knowledge between farmers and researchers
- Promote local and native species
Climate advocacy
Carry the voices of communities and young people to decision-makers, from local to national level.
- Document climate impacts on the ground
- Mobilise young people around visible actions
- Engage with authorities and partners
Programme in development: we are looking for partners for the first actions.
